Just got one of these badboys

Fixed it onto the seatpost on my hack bike and went out for a quick ride with the dog today. Well impressed with the results bearing in mind it is so tiny.

Here is a link to the video

P.S Its not very exciting the ride i go on. Yes i am wearing lycra before any of you funny boys take the piss and ladies, thank you but i am taken.  Cool

footage was crystal clear for such a tiny camera... reading the specs online tells me it record in the NTSC format (30fps) and at a 4 x 3 aspect ratio..but all in all it's a neat little unit.....

where did you get it and what was the cost?

I closed my eyes at the Lycra showing part.... Grin Grin Grin Grin Wink Wink

It was £55 from amazon.

I got the optional sports pack which includes helmet mount and handlebar mount and other bits. Really pleased with it and you wont believe how small it is until you actually see it.

good quality pic but test will be how it handles bumping around off road and changing light levels in and out of the shadows / trees. Still at that price can't complain, might get one myself to accompany the vholdr
Bit disconcerting 'cock-eyed' viewpoint though
Looks like the brown dog has recovered ok, would be good to strap camera to his collar and get his view of things.
.....but seriously, forget the lycra crimes - 2 finger braking?? Wink

I take it you`ve not seen this on BR:

At that price it`s got to be worth a punt.

what's wrong with two finger braking! They are only v brakes you know!!!!

If I strapped the camera to Barkley it would spend most of it's time submereged in muddy puddles and streams....

It's my fully rigid hack bike. Cheapo frame off eBay and 12yrs old Deore Xt groupset. Most expensive part of the bike is the Mavic Ust wheels. Old school v brakes to for when men were men  Wink
It has massive mud clearance so is a great winter bike. It only weighs 24lbs to so pretty good on the roads. The only thing I find is that the bb is so low it smacks into everything as do the pedals. I will post a pic so you can see the difference between it and my Giant.

If you're intending to buy one then check out pdid's bikeradar link.  Its basically an unbranded version of the same camera for £12 delivered.
