Woke up on Nov 15th for the uplift day at Inners with a chesty cough out of the blue. Also just felt pretty tired like one of those days where your eyes just refuse to open. Anyway, never thought nothing of it. Nailed Make or Break first run, then fell off a few times doing the Matador, then landed heavily on my ribs at the foot of the Gold run. Thinking back now, when I fell off I just didn't have any focus or concentration on what I was doing. It was Monday the symptoms got alot worse, then Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday I was totally floored. Can't believe I've done the same ribs again, and all you can do is wait, cos time is the only thing that bloody heals them. I must say that it was a terrible week with that bloody cough and the sore ribs, knowing you had serious pain coming every time you coughed, it was horrendous.

Hope you were just tired and not got the cough. if you've got the cough, you may have swine flu comin your way, and i wouldn't wish that on anyone after what i went through. Crackin day here, but I've got a major hangover, just about to take my wee boy out on his specialized 10 inch hotrock. Santas getting him a 16inch one, can't wait to see his face.

I'm in the "at risk" category 'cause I had bad asthma when I was a kid. I've been vaccinated against everything from common cold to bubonic plaque. There's no way I'm gonna get that pig flu. There's gotta be some plus points from being ill for 16 years of my life.
I've heard it can be quite bad though, so I have sympathy for anyone who gets it. Hope you all recover well. Texanburger, how long were you ill with it for?

not swine flu just laziness
hard week last week and the long hours at work and travelling backwards and forwards all over the place caught up on me, along with a really bad nights sleep
Spent the day sorting the bikes out instead and tirying the shed so I can actually get to them
3 bikes now all shiny and running as they should be
, and a bag of spare parts to go on ebay tonight

Got the cough Sunday morning, and was over the worst by the following Friday, sweating like a poof in a sausage factory at night in bed, then shivering fits during the day, not pleasant. The cough lasted for a whole 3 weeks.

It was only clean because in between those very brief dry moments it was absolutely pissing it down!
