I do wonder what 'top secret' internals go on race bikes as i've seen this bike along with Dan's and Rachel's on ebay?

And they certainly didn't have brand new suspension on them! ( definately worth the few grand they all went for )

Can't wait to see what the team colours are for next year....those Animal Stripes have been everywhere this year and it is going to hard to match the impact.

but they wouldnt have sold the bikes with those fancy shocks and forks... the ones on ebay had the standard grey lowers unlike the white ones that you see on the athertons bikes... also the rear shocks come with a factory tuned/prototype sticker on them and the ones on ebay where the standard models, shame!! superb machines...

wonder what the 2009 DH will be like, could be tempting!!!

The Supreme 6 I use for XC weighs the same as Gee's DH bike.

Blimey. That's depressing.

Forgot to reply to this one...

That footage is from a couple of weeks after the Athertons signed the deal, hence they are in some custom Animal clothing and riding silver 2006 VIP models.

I wouldn't be too surprised if they stick with the colours, but move away from the zebra stripes! ( as they were part of the Animal anniversary last year )
