I have a set of the green bars and i'd advise against. The problem with mine was the paint on one side seemed too thick and I couldn't get my lever/shifter on. I managed to get the lever on about 50mm and it got stuck and no amount of lube would release it. I eventually snapped my XT lever clamp getting it off and quite badly damaged the bar.

With the clamp broken I was able to get it on and its on pretty solid plus the grip covers the damage. My problem now is I can't get the grips off (also Sixpack - lock on) I struggled to get them on so I knew this would happen, The grips have worn down to smooth after 3 rides.

I might just have been really unlucky with my bar and grips but I won't be buying them again no matter how cool they look (they do look cool)!
