Smiley  With so many folk being a little on the negative side about their bikes, I thought I would be positive.  My bike is great.  I love it to bits and it hasn't failed me yet after more than a year of pretty regular riding, say three or even four times a week (summer riding), if I get the chance.  Apart from the Dart 2's leaking, it's not had any problems.  It's a bit battered now, but still looks great, is as light as a feather and a real pleasure to take out.  Grin

Anyone else happy with their bike?

I know. I just think it seemed a bit of a pointless thread.

Actually, I don't think it is pointless at all.   Huh?

What I was trying to do with balance out all the negativity there seems to be with cracked frames and the like.

There is such a thing as too much complaining and it's nice to see that not everyone is having a bad time out there!

Anyone stumbling upon this web page might think that Commencals aren't that great a bike.  Undecided

Okay with you?

The fact is, if you are already a Commencal owner then you are either a) happy that you have a nice bike, or b) upset that yours has cracked.

People who fall into camp a) just won't post on here, even if you create a thread for them. And even if they do, it does make for very boring reading (until I came along  Wink ). How much solace can you gain from a few other random people with bikes without cracks - it's hardly a large cross-section you're polling. It works both ways of course - don't worry about your bike cracking just because a fair few of us have been reporting our problems on here.

If you are worried that Commencal are getting an (unfair?) reputation for cracked frames, do you think one thread is going to change poeple's perceptions?

I'll wait to be proved wrong and maybe you'll get hundres of happy owners posting on this thread. It'll still be boring though, so I'll not bother reading it.
