Anyone know where you can get the clips used to clip the brake hoses to the frame?
I have stripped my bike down to get it resprayed and have broken some of them taking them off, they have gone brittle.Would rather use these than cable ties!

Assuming you mean the wee U-shaped plastic thingies that clip in...? Try chatting up your LBS for a few? Otherwise, go bling on the P-clips here:
http://www.tastynuts.com/site/frames/frameset_shoponline.htm
search for PLCIP10

they do some nice stuff, check out their anodised alloy bolts (as seen on my 5.5) and titanium derailleur stuff. Of course you'd have to fasten the P-clip to the bike as well... Roll Eyes

B*gger me - that's my lbs and you're right - they're not cheap.  Smiley

I managed to pick up a couple of these clips from Biketreks in Ambleside last time I was there.
They were lying on the ground outside by the bikewash  Grin Grin Grin

Get some quality cable ties, you know the ones with a stainless locking tab in them, they are much less ugly than the cheapo ones and stop that hose sliding about, which on my meta is a pain at the pivot as it rubs against the frame and makes horrible squeaky noises without the cable ties!  Wink

Well, you could try Farnell, plenty to choose from of every variety:

After trying JE James they are not in stock after all that. In fact they are not a great company to deal with at all!!!
In fact they are the worst i have ever come across, they don't even answer the phone.... ever.
I am going to stick to my cheap cable ties in future.

Sure I said that somewhere...

Slight exaggeration, but I feel your pain bro, frequently.
Took them 6 weeks to get a couple of stem bolts in for me...

Mustn't turn this into an anti JEJ thread though.  By & large they try to be helpful.  Smiley
