Peaty the man,the legend finally taken his title !! The King has been Crowned at long last !!!!!!!!!

It was a tight final 10 thats for sure!!! Especially the final 3 !!!

I only got two in the top 10 wrong, Nico and blenkinsop. and most importantly, peaty won it!!

It was a brilliant race to watch, I have never been a FAN of Peaty but i must say it was nice to see him finally win, shame Gee and Fabian didnt do quite as well as id liked the to have, Rennie is a tank, year off training and comes back with 7th Grin

Awsome job Peaty, after 4 silvers no one deserved it more, loving the the guy sticking it to the youngsters, sometimes I feel a bit old playing on my bike in the woods (that's what the missus tells me!!) but Peaty is the same age and winning world champs!!

Watched [http=http://freecaster.tv/mtb/1009251/steve-peat-interview-the-2009-dh-world-champion]this[/url] interview with Peaty and Warner and have to admit it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Especially to come some close so many times like tintole said.

Still, you've got to give him credit, he didn't win it just for being a nice guy, there were a lot of decent riders there and he fully deserved it. True legend of the sport  Cool

Awesome result!  What was all the better was he didn't win it due to anyone else crashing or having mechanicals he was just the fastest on the hill full stop!  Last years everyone was saying it was his real chance when Sam Hill crashed, but this must be the sweetest of wins for him.
