Just thought i'd show you one of my local trails. Lancashire thats is.This place is starting to get there after some funding. The total trail is about 19k in length and there plans for more trails to be added.

Not my film but had a big off on the trail yesterday. At 1m52 they hit a dip. My 5 bottomed out there and shot me into the air and I collided with the tree stump just after it on the right,(or left if you are riding it)

Fly, this is the trail I was talking about. They are supposed to be doing some more trails on the route and building a trail centre with cafe etc.

I was here today ........ niiiiice. very very sticky though, that bit ur on about was lethal in the mud. The drainage needs sorting in one or two places, but other than that very very good. Perfect on the 6.

Yeah, I agree. I would say from that route onwards it definately needs sorting. It's like they have not got round to gravelling it. It was good when dry though. Did you not feel the "ping" of the dip when you did it?

I felt the ping of mi arsehole when I lost all grip in the 6" of slutch. I can see what you mean, if dry and nailing it.

Did you do the Slab?

That was quite cool, there's some good north shore too - don't fancy that in the frost though

@dgould, ha ha, yeah is a bit muddy isn't it? The slab was no probs the first time. the second time I looked at it for 10 seconds instead of 2, but yeah I did it. All I can say is, "it's bark is far worse than it's bite" The North Shore is a lot more enjoyable than Llandegla don't you think?

@Ant Yeah, you are defo the one for the job I reckon. There is a hip on the 3rd berm, which i think you freeride lot could make a laugh out of.

There's also a bike friendly pub nearby that starts near the trail and has bike wash, burger and a beer for when you've finished, can't remember the name tho!!

Looks like things have changed for the better up there, went a good few months ago and it was a bit firetrail tastic, but had potential...... may need a re-visit!

Had a nosey back up at Lee Quarry today after 5 months waiting following a dissapointing first visit and they've done a decent job there too....
