If you mean the hollow axle then unscrew one of the end caps a bit, or all the way and then back in a few turns, then hit it with a deadfall hammer, rubber mallet etc. Something that won't mark or do damage.

If you mean the 2 cartridge bearings in the swingarm on each side then, personally, after suffering a lot of grief and a nearly ruined swingarm on mine, I would take it to the LBS to do.

Unless you've got the right tools / corerct size press & know how to use them.

(unless your meta is an 07 with the pinch bolts on the bearing housings)
