Right now i CANNOT make the 12/13th sept, just recieved coldplay tickets through the post which is on the 12th, and i forgot i'd ordered them. (ordered them 11 months ago)

So if i go, it'll be the weekend before that, the 5th/6th of sept.

Thats what I would want to do just at the thought of going to see Coldplay - throw myself off a big mountain the week before

that wknd is fine for me aswell i think. But as for staying in a campsite? no thanks lol,i dont mind risking the scottish weather during the day but im not so keen on having to stay out in it all night.
I will be staying the night (most likely the sat) in The Bank Street Lodge Hotel, centrally located (right behind the small tesco express on the high st) and its cheap as feck but nice and clean and they dont care what time u crawl back in at or in what state,lol.
It works out at under £20 a head for a night for one of the ensuite rooms(the more people u have the cheaper it becomes, ie.a 6person room is £105,or £14 if u dont mind staying in one of the dorm rooms,plus they have parking under the hotel,no secure bike storage tho,but mine is safe in my van

Just checked the website, and it looks like Fort bill is out of bounds that weekend. They have a race weekend on the 5/6th Sept.

Problem i have is that i currently have a set of royally fu&k'd forks, they've been pishing oil for the last 4 months, and i've got a new set of forks on backorder with RS, some 2010 forks which i'm the first to get in the country.

Great i hear you say, but this is where the problem comes up.

I work monday-friday, with me doing a short shift on friday, so i can have that off dead easy, but i cannot take any more holidays in the week to go to fort bill in the week time. So i must go on the weekend. Now, my forks come into the country on the 2nd of Sept, so that leaves 2 weekends for me to get there before the track is closed for the winter. These weekends are the 5/6 (Can't, there's a race on) and the 12/13th (seeing coldplay).

so i'm in this prefdicament on whether i lose £100 (price of 2 coldplay tix) and go to scotland for the 12th/13th, and miss a gig i've been waiting to go to for 12 month nearly, or go the gig, and not ride fort bill this year.

And all i'm thinking atm, is MEHHH!!!

Sell the tickets on ebay dude,you would defo get more than you pid for them.
I would rather it was the 12/13th wknd for me,cant go any sooner than the 5/6th either.

That's the thoughts that have gone through my mind..

Now something else has popped up.. Parents are away for that weekend too, so guess who has too look after the dogs... ME!!

BUT, i have neighbours that are prepared to have them as long as they're not away too.

Paid £100 for two tickets for coldplay. It's an open air gig with jayzee too, so i think they'll go on the 'bay, or i'll try to sell them on classifieds before i get raped by paypal. I rekon i'll only get about £70-75 for them. but that 75 can go on a core protector for my torso.. I fall off a lot

If all goes well, it'll be back to the 12/13th Sept.

Damn that means im gonna have to choose to either watch and film the sda or watch and maybe film the strammash, or find a way of doing both

Do both Dom,the freeride at Stramash is on the sat,so you would only miss the practise at inners,plus the finals of stramash isnt till the eve too,so you could do both on the sat. And watch the Dh at inners on sunday,thats my plan.

Also Chris and Ant,i can only do the wknd of the 12/13th cos i have my sisters and her hubbys 30th party on the 5th. so it rules that wknd out for me.
