Just wondering whether anyone here is going to be at the fort on the weekend of the 12th/13th sept? The season closes on the 13th sept, so i dunno whether the gondola closes then too.

I'm hoping to head up with a few other guys to Fort william, and just wondering whether anyone here would be up for making the trip there? Trust me, it's worth visiting at least for one weekend in your biking lifetime!

gonna be camping at glen nevis probs, or maybe somewhere else locally. Probs get there fri evening, ride all sat/sun, stay till monday morning, then go home. Smiley

Errrr, just take it really fast, or real slow.

I've never been there riding before, but i've been at the DHtrack a few times before though.

Oh, and don't worry bout the weather, just make sure you gots the waterproofs on. Oh, and i hear stopping half way down at least is best.

just take it easy then, and enjoy! Keep the tyre pressures up a bit too to stop those pinch punctures with the rocks.

Hey Ant,

Providing I'm not working then I'm well up for going along... will give me a chance to put my crash behind me and give the track a proper beating!

Well, i'm now debating whether i can afford to go now.. Just had to send my rear shock (Only thought it'd cost £10 for new seals) off to MOJO for a service (£105 later....) due to things having come apart inside the shock, and also just bought some new cranks which came today.

But i'm hoping that i can just bung it all on the credit card, so i can ride FB then. I'll have new forks and a new feeling shock too then, so i'll be able to give them a good workout.

Also hoping that my mates don't pussy out. But i've got another mate who's definately up for it if they pussy out.

I'm having some time off in September and was thinking about a week in Scotland, visiting GT (etc) & Fort Bill so might be able to make that weekend.  Will be on a 5 though so no haring off at warp speed down the DH track.  Smiley

Right now i CANNOT make the 12/13th sept, just recieved coldplay tickets through the post which is on the 12th, and i forgot i'd ordered them. (ordered them 11 months ago)

So if i go, it'll be the weekend before that, the 5th/6th of sept.
