yep tht is the price of the 2010 commencal absolut Ti 4X.......................jeezo its expensive, bolt through rear..........can also be bought with horizontal instead (i believe that is the same price) so tht would be the absolut Ti DJ..................i cant afford £1900  Sad Cry...................looks sick though:

i contemplating the 2010 absolut MaxMax and just ripping it to peices and using the frame to build it custom:

what do people think.............and also what other DJ frames around do you think would suit me (considering i wanted a Ti frame) or are pretty good.

ALSO steve B got any weights on the Ti DJ, absolut crmo and the maxmax crmo frames for 2010 and prices please? (also does the maxmax come as frame only? how much $$?

If you still wanted a Ti frame and you were willing to leave the Commencal camp, you could go for a Charge Blender.  I think it retails for £1299.99 so it's £600 cheaper.  I reckon the Aluminium 4X would be just as good a bet and it's still pretty light weight and pretty much a quarter of the price of the Ti one.

As for other jump frames that are pretty good it depends on the choice between steel and aluminium.  The Last Rufus looks very nice, has horizontal dropouts but a dropout adapter can be bought, weighs about 5.5 pounds and is steel.  If you have a bit of cash then how about a Curtis Racelight?  British and available in custom colours too!  I also wonder when Intense will bring out their hardtail Tazer frame, maybe worth considering in the future.

Of course your suggestions of either the Max Max or Cromo would be pretty good.  I think the Absolut Al 4X might be the best choice!

all bike prices are gonna go up for 2010 so i think a Ti frame will be out of the question all together............basically i want a good fairly light (not like a heavy spesh p2 i mean) singlespeed frame that is not too expensive now around £400 (which i have found out is the price of the maxmax crmo frame only  Cheesy i think i will probs get tht) and hasnt got thick tubing like a al frame has so probs crmo

Does it have to be a 2010 model? Is there not a decent jump bike about that you can buy from say this years model range or last years even. Don't mean commy neccessarily, any make?

i think seeing as we are already half way through the year i might as well wait and get a 2010 bike, i sont mind paying a little mmore for a bike rather than get last years version in the sales
