I've heard that which is making me slightly nervous to say the least! I'm NOT going to post a blistering time... I'll just be happy to go along for the experience and to see what it's all about!

It comes with age mate... plus the job I do, and being in the Forces you just tend to go for it a bit more I guess. Some would call it stupidity, I call it thrill seeking lol!

Yeah fair enough, it just seems to be my barrier, if i do it with a mate and get it over with it probably wont be that bad, but its getting the mate to do it too,

Once its done its done, ill probably race again, but the first one is always the hardest, especially when there are things you know you mentally cant do like the coffin jump at inners and the drops (which i can do physicaly and skillfully but not mentally, like racing once ive done them its fine)

BTW sorry for hogging your post  Wink

It's ok mate.

I know what you mean though... I always seem to have a problem with doubles for some bloody reason... mental block or something!

It is indeed that dom,u have described it perfectly  Grin

Not sure if i would make it my choice for my 1st race, but i guess one way to look at it chris is that once u have done it all the other venues on the sda circuit will be enjoyable compared and u wont have that beast of a track looming over u to worry bout racing cos u have already slayed that beast.

Dom i reckon u should defo go race man, from what i seen at bonaly (which granted wasnt that long) u seem like quite a competant rider and u would thrive at a race scene once ure 1st one is out the way.   Cool

Thanks Bong appreciate it, and i agree with you i wouldnt have chosen Glencoe, tht why im maybe thinking Inners as i know it fairly well, but i have tough competition in the form on Lewis Buchanan ...............

I had agreed with myself i only wanted to enter if i was gonna do half well

There are still 14 spaces left if anyone else wants to do it?

Bong? Dom?

I know it's mental to choose it as the first track I race on, (in fact my first ever race!) but I'm just going to give it a go and see how I get on... will be interesting to say the least!

All I can say is 'baptism of fire', if you enjoy it you can race anywhere, believe me Wink

You better buy some spikes or swamp things if you haven't got any.
