I have an idea, over the last wee while, i have been drawing simple bike designs, to find out new ways of shock positioning and compression. This also incorporates the look of the frame and functionality. I propose that every day or every other day i put up a couple of photos of a different design. What do you guys think?

I will say this first,

ALL DESIGNS ARE COPYRIGHT TO ME AND ONLY ME, MY METHODS OF SHOCK COMPRESSION ARE REVOLUTIONARY AND HAVE NEVER BEEN PRODUCED BY ANY OTHER BIKE MANUFACTURER (or at least i think so, and im not sure on this one) (also they are not really copyrighted or patented but id like to think so, and like t think no one would copy and run of f to a bike manufacturer with my ideas, that goes to the bike manufacturers themselves too, any of them who see this post i would like to think they would not come to work the next day with my ideas)

So what you guys think?

Now Im no engineer but dont see how that works. Understand swing arm is on the lower pivot. But surely the upperlink for the shock is mounted in two places on the swing arm so its not going to change position unless some slider mechanism is involved and your not going to get that off of yeti.?

Thanks Iain, great to know you all love them before you have even seen them, but remember that some needed a bit of work, this one included

Randomly I was thinking about this driving into work.

What you need to do is make a 2D paper model of your suspension designs and then attach each peice with a eyelet to simulate the pivot point.

That way when you move the rear swingarm to simulate wheel movement you will be able to see ( albeit roughly ) the angles and movements of the suspension ( if any ).

Just a thought
