Pretty sure this is an exclusive ( at time of writing, but expect to see everyone running this story as it is HOT news )

The info direct from Commie...

Absolut SX

Initially designed for a slopestyle life, the Absolut SX is going to show that its range of abilities will be much wider. Modern, compact, light, with a 140mm /5,5inches of travel, it will be as comfortable in a bike park as in a twisty downhill trail. Developed and build with Cédric GRACIA’s input, this bike is extremely reliable and knows how to boogie!

ALL THE SECRETS OF THE ABSOLUT SX

The Absolut SX uses numerous new technical solutions:

- Has a great size /stiffness /weight balance ratio.

- The main pivot point of the contact system is located on the bottom bracket, enabling a singlespeed build.

- Conical integrated headtube 1.5 - 1.1/8inches: ideal if you want a 160mm fork.

- New 10mm shock mount axles: Easier to remove and stronger

New rear dropouts, compatible with the Absolut SX, Absolut AL, Absolut 4X and Meta 4X. This design is stronger and provides more surface area for the hub to press against.

Allows the use of 10mm, 12mm, 12mm Maxle or Singlespeed hubs. Thicker, stronger, they won’t damage the rear arm if a problem occurs.

- A dust cap integrates an ISCG mount if you wish to ride with a chainguide and some gears.

- All the pivot points are mounted with sealed cartridge bearings, and nickel cromoly bolts, nicer, much more integrated to the dust caps, avoiding the use of washers.

The CONTACT SYSTEM of the ABSOLUT SX

The contact system is updated with an innovative connection around the bottom bracket.

This set-up offers a rear travel of 140mm /5.5inches with a shock length of 200mm (shock stroke 57mm)

Few final words: A Slopestyle bike, but well adapted to Dirt Jump, 4X, A-Line Downhill, Dirt Merchant!

Available models

- 1 complete bike (14,1kg/31,08lb)

- 1 VIP Frame (3,6kg/7,93lb w/o rear shock)

Available sizes: Short, Long

Price: TBC

Well said steve!

Great job Tim, real life does get in the way and regardless of what bikeradar put up, you guys always have a unique insider scoop of some sort which is worth the wait!

Oi!
I don't look at Bikeradar or terrengsykkel or anything apart from Dirtmag and here. So this is great!
I'll probably get some news from the Nor importer later, but this is great...

...well actually it's not. The bike looks great, but now I have a Ti, a 5 and a WCS how will I be able to afford one of these? And I HAVE to have one, it'll make my life complete! (For a bit).

Those dropouts are the sweetest! What a great looking bike!

When are they coming out?

Sorry, just a little rant from me:
have we got to the spot where if you aren't the first out with the info you're "boring" or "uncool" or something? I say if you've got time to be scouring the internet for the newest news all day maybe you've got too much going on in your life? Get out and ride!
I only just looked at Dirt and they have the news too, I saw it here first, and I feel that ComOwners is reliable and straight with the facts, so I'll continue to swing by here. Well done guy!

Rant over.
Sorry.

Guys don't get me wrong I give respect for peops making COC work and you know that other wise I wouldn't be around so that's kinda wothless to tell anyway. It's jsut that you made such a big thing about teasing us and not showing us the new stuff, and now give us the cake you promised the thing is already yesterday. I don't scout around to find the first plase to see these kind of pics but despite of that I saw enough already to make all that fuzz a bit funny.

I apologize if you didn't understand my irony and please don't take it personal and too seriously. No hard feelings eh? Kiss

3.6kgs w/o the shock? Fekk me, that's (kinda) heavy - there's dh frames that weigh as much - or little depending on how one look at it. Sure, it is prob bombproof, but so are a lot of other designs out there. Prob really fun to play around on though.

nice write up, though affe brings forth some valid points as well (though detecting irony in a single otherwise not altered word is somewhat hard - and initially struck me as over the top/unnecessry). Had this been posted a day sooner than everybody else did all the teasing leading up to this point had been somewhat excuseable - if still somewhat annoying from my point of view (mostly since i'm not that interested in this frame/bike - had it been a frame i actually cared about my sentiments might have been different - and if it had been done in  different fashion).

Steve, take a chill pill eh.   Grin hehe
