Cheers mate.  Loved those bikes.
Neither of them were exactly stock - both had a lot of my time & effort sunk into them.
I feel wiped out by it.

They were nicked from my garage which is a brick built extension onto the house - so I'm hoping will be covered for full replacement value.  Will hear from the loss adjuster in a few days.

Meantime am going to reinforce the garage door...

Just want them back though.  Don't really want the hassle of having to replace them both.  Wouldn't be the same either.

Steve get these
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ENFIELD-UP-AND-OVER-GARAGE-DOOR-LOCKS-HIGH-SECURITY_W0QQitemZ290316858300QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_HaG_Lock_Safes_GL?hash=item43983bb3bc&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72:1683|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318|301:0|293:1|294:50

We got them after 4 break ins, and tbh they look indestructible. One each side of the door, and all you see is 4 tiny bolts and the bit for the key to go through

That sucks big time Steve, feel for you buddy. Will keep an eye out just in case, you never know. Have you got the frame serial numbers noted down so you can give them to the cops?

Cheers for that, they look good. The cop suggested 2 things.
1. Drill 2 or 3 10mm holes into the bottom lip of the garage door, and corresponding foot deep holes in the garage flloor.  Drop some thick 12" tent pegs into the holes.  Anyone trying to get in won't be able to without creating a hell of a noise.  Cheap as chips.
2. Baby monitor in the garage.  About £40 ish

Have you got the frame serial numbers noted down so you can give them to the cops?
Cheers.  Yep, cops have them.
The Meta was also on Bikeregister & fitted with a Datatag.  Hopeully if recovered that will help.

I'm off to do some drilling  Sad

That is harsh dude, hope u get fully compensated by the insurance. wee buggers eh,and the worst bit is that they will prob only sell em for a fraction of what they are really worth,a total insult to the bikes. Get a huge Rotwiller and let it sleep in ure garage, that will be a beauty of a surprise for em if they ever try again  Grin

Also have u tried putting something on pinkbike??
