I really wanted Gee to win, only 0.02 is less than an axtra pedal stroke, he would have had it. I thought Sam was going to win though, but he crashed and finished 30+ or something.

TBH as much as i like the commie team i was rooting for peaty more,he is a legend and i have followed him for the past 14 years.
My fav riders are CG at the top, then peaty then Dan then Gee,even though Dan aint as good a rider as Gee i prefer his style and think he is a cooler guy.

Anybody watch this in Eurosport 2?? Who is that commentator. He wants shagging with a rag man's trumpet. Its like he's never seen a race before and doesn't know about any of the riders. I swear he described part of the course as 'the bobbles'.
That aside, Gee did look on the money, a few dabs in the top section made him look a touch slower than the doctor - but that's just his style.
I know what bong means about Dan, he's just so much lighter on the bike. Its like he bounces from spot to spot on the trail, whereas Gee just hammers through. I did the Atherton's fundementals last year and I've never seen anyone so in control of his bike as Dan. Get well soon Affy!!

No doubt Peaty is a legend, but don't forget Nicolas Vouilloz he won 16 world cup races and he was 10 times world champion.
