Got my new issue of mbuk through today, where they put the supreme2 up against a glory,a diamond back and the spesh big hit,the supreme comes runner up due to the let down of the 55's for the 2nd year in a row,but its all good cos the rest of the bike got a good write up and commie are still a baby company so they dont have the buying power other bike companies have so the spec suffers a bit. Buy the supreme1 i say  Grin ,much cooler colour anyhow  Cool

The mini DH gets a head to head with a spesh trail i think it is. Commy gets a 5. Spesh a 10. In the new MBR

Five against ten?  Harsh.  The write-up in Dirt this month (Spesh SX / Commie Supreme / Orange Alpine) it came out a lot better.  They talk about the crappy forks and pretty basic stock spec for the price but they built their own up (which admittedly cost a fortune retail) but with that said it was an awesome bike and they'd definitely buy one as it's so much fun.

We were with Steve Jones when he was testing the Supreme. Said the frame out performed thr spesh. I wouldn't take a blind bit of notice of the MBR review. Even the Specialzed pump gets 10/10 in that magazine!

I read that review, and I kinda agree with the comment on the fork. We've all heard the reviews and owner feedback that the new Marzocchi stuff gets and it makes me think they might be better off speccing a domain or something from any brand other than Marzocchi till they get their act together. The reality is Commie are selling an excellent frame with a crap fork. Its a shame as it makes thier bike look bad when its probably one of the best out there. I know a fork can be changed, but if you have just spend 2K on a bike you don't want to spend another £400-500 on a fork.

exactly that. it would real nice to see a supreme kitted out with fox 36's as stock, seeing as thats bay far the most popular upgrade anyhow,im sure some customers wouldnt mind spending a 100 or so more bucks to upgrade the fork on initial purchase, maybe just even if it was an option on the supreme1 and leave the supreme2 with 66's or something!  Cool

In the new DIRT mag, the supreme goes against a specialised sx trail, and an orange alpine 160. It comes last due to the poor spec in comparison, and the terrible forks.

They did say that they highly recommend it on a frame only route, and build it up better..
