I'm glad somebody finally noticed  Wink

well no shit sherlock. The reference to the mini furious said as much, but i din't think it needed spelling out loud. The moderating crowd isn't as refined as can be hoped for then... hehehehe  Grin Grin Grin Wink Unless this and the photo shows to different bikes (which would make me look silly) the correlation is abundantly clear.

and what's so poor about the level of observance? SS on one, gears on the sx, and a partial of a dhx air (a kinda crappy shock, yee that commie decided to utilize it in the lineup indeed....). The pivot doesn't come into consideration as it was "discovered" immidiately and commented upon as such too. Hm, this partial suggestion of mine wasn't the best idea after all, especiallly as the things depicted are drawn. If the complete picture is your background on tze computer i would suggest going out and snaping some decent riding shots instead.

that being said i could've prob seen these a little while ago too, but to be honest iæm not all that concerned - though intriigued enough to  reply to this thread though

The original picture of the 'mini furious' did appear to show replaceable dropouts (bolt thru?) so presumably it did could accomodate gears Huh?

Then again - looking at the lower chain line there doesn't seem to be enough room for a derailleur and there's no gear cable fitted...

But is this the bike which was in the photo? That had a RP23 on it.....hmmmmmm
Tim S
Are you sure - doesn't look like an RP23 to me.  Can't see the rebound / propedal adjuster...

Too far for a day trip, GT is a good 3 hour drive from the Ferry (remember, we're in Northern Ireland) K'Tree is 40mins.

Ya, good. Over here we have no man made trails, everything is natural, not much in the way of fast, smooth and flowing, more steep, technical and sketchy so it's nice to ride something different once in a while.  Not that I'd want to have to ride trails like K'tree all the time, makes you soft ;-)
