Hi!

Which protection do you use for your Commencal? A chain stay protector or copter tape?

Cheers

Mine still has the crappy metalicy-carbony-fibrey-looky-likey sticker on, but I'll replace/cover that with a neoprene cover when I can be arsed. The helicopter tape is lurking in a packing box somewhere awaiting the removals men...  Undecided

Heli tape on the Furious.
Just the bog standard sitcker on the Absolut AL.
Nowt on the CrMo (it's single speed, so if the chain does hit the stay, I know I'm in trouble!)

Is this suitable for my 07' Meta 5?

Or would you prefer another one?

Oh, and would you put one or two on it (upper and lower)?

cheers

If you have a Decathlon store nearby, get one of these:
http://www.decathlon.co.uk/EN/zip-neoprene-protector-3891692/
They zip up and tie-wrap to the frame, so they ain't going nowhere! Cheesy

I think neoprene would be better.

Did you put two neopren csp on your 07' Meta 5? -> On both swingarms?

Thanks for your help!

Am I the only person who uses old inner tube? I've got it on the chain and seat stays to keep them nice.

A neoprene lizard skins chain stay protector.

Oh and wegascee, you only need the one.

Lamby pie,
I am with you on the old inner tube. Cheap as cheap can get and works great. Used zip-ties to attach.

I use bar tape on the chainstays and a lizardskin on the drive side seatstay ('07 Meta 5.5). Work perfect and looks good.
