St Petersburg

I will be going to St Petersburg for a week or two in the spring time for holiday and I'd like to take my Meta with me. I'm pretty sure thats good area for trail riding. Taking my bike with me is not a big issue since I live only a few hours away and will be most likely traveling with train.

What I'm a bit concerned though is the safety while cruising around with my pimped(well not that much) Meta and I don't speak any russian (luckily my GF I'm going with does fluently but she's not going biking).

Think of getting a bike bag for the travel. Any recommendations? Cheep CRC bag any good???

If any of you have any possible contacts to the right direction or has ANY info about biking around St Petersburg I'd be really thankful!
