Anyone know any information, have pics, or anything really? I no about Affy's and Cedric's ones, and that Cedric's mechanic has one with horizontal drop-outs, I have seen photos of them, but i would like to know about availability and pricing, when will they, if they will be, available?

Word is they won't be available for a very long time. Custom team jobbies at the moment only.  Sad

Ye I really wanted it for proper street, and big dirt jumps, i don't think the flame would suit my style as much, the ti absolut would be perfect, and i want commie, ill just wait and see. I did email commie like a year and a half ago before anyone saw the frames and they said they were working on them. If it is September that will be fine, i need some money first  Tongue

I'll check - not sure if Commencal might've shelved plans for the time being. But yeah there are a couple in existence. A few of the R&D guys at Commencal are riding prototypes.

Thing is... the Ti Absolut is a race frame, designed for 100% 4X racing.

Surely a steel Absolut would be better for dirt jumping?

It would be like taking a Porsche GT3RS around a rally track... not really its intended use.

They are doing a 4X version with vertical drop-outs and a DJ/Street version with horizontal drop-outs (as seen in the photo)

Ah cool! I take it back as I didn't know about the street/DJ version.

Heard the price will be similar to the Titanium XC frame... £1000 or so isn't it?  Shocked

YE it may be, but I'm not so sure, I emailed commie some time last year asking about it, before the prototypes were built, and they said it tey couldn't tell me the price but that it would be around 2.5X more than the crmo frame. So between £800-£900!  Wink

Somehow cant see it being that cheap. the price of titanium has nearly tripled in the last year.

Look at the price of the charge titanium frame, when i brought mine 6 months ago it was 999.00, now its 1250.00. The commencal will be around 1400 AT LEAST  Embarrassed

Maybe we will just have to see, i have emailed them again, but had no reply yet, (5 days) we can presume it will be between £800 and £1400 though! Unfortunately  Cry
