Hi all, new on here bought a Meta 4.1 this month, can't stop riding it. Much better than a Specalized Eduro i used to own. I've been over to Cannock Chase today, went around twice :-) The only fault is the tyres not much grip. I'm after a set of tyres for UK trail riding, what do you guys recommend?

Only for UK Trail riding as in managed trails, like Afan, Coed y Brenin, 7 Stanes etc?  You probably don't neet anything as heavy as High Rollers then.  the lighter versions of the Ardents, Ignitors or the Conti MK or folding Conti RQ would do.  I can vouch for the MK's.  Not so good in soft ground or mud but then you're talking Trail Centre here aren't you?

On a Meta 4.1 for Trail riding ? I don't think so. Grin

Actually on second thoughts if you regularly ride Cannock perhaps the MK's aren't a good choice.

I agree - Conti Mountain Kings 2.4 are perfect for most trail centres. The Maxxis High Rollers are great just a bit draggy and heavy for trail centre stuff.
