sounds cool raygun what else do you have planned for your combi. i'm considering some raceface evolve cranks as my mate has them on his orange p7 and they look cool!
I'd love some evolve cranks but the hones are pretty good (and a lot cheaper)! I've been eyeing up a Nuke Proof seatpost but will have to wait till the budget allows. Student life and all that..... Have you changed your treads?

Absolut and MaxMax here.
Old skool Absolut AL for all round duties. MaxMax for playing around duties.
What is the Absolut like to ride? Never had a shot of one. Isn't it mainly a dirt jumping/street machine?

Yeah the newer absoluts are pretty much a jumping/street bike, but the older ones (think its the pre 07's) are more of an all rounder. I still use mine for all round use even tho its a dirt jump/street,its just a little more of a challenge thats all,but when u hit a route that has some jumps and berms then its my time to shine!!

Supernormal from a fair few years back... still love it and can't see the point in upgrading the frame to a full susser for the majority of my riding.
Built with thomson stem and downhill bars, 5.1 rims then nearly full XTR... light and strong. Perfect

Vintage Cannondale hardtail with Fox Floats from the Meta and full XT groupset - never get tired of riding it.
Like the Meta but don't quite have the same affinity as I do for the hardtail.

2003 Stumpjumper HT I use for playing about on, it probably does more miles than the others. 2008 Carbon Zaskar custom, XT bits including the XT factory wheelset, Rebas, carbon bars, Thomson post, Bel Air Ti etc. Then my beloved Meta XT

Giant XTC 3 with some upgrades, doesn't get much of a look in these days apart from going round the block with the sprog. Still a good bike and will use it once more when I upgrade the fork to something decent.

Cotic Soul here. Lovely bike, rides very well, nice and light. Compliments my Meta. Ride them both equally depending on what I fancy on the day. Also have a 1995 GT Tequesta that I haven't ridden much since it broke my collar bone and banged up my ribs 18 monhs ago.
