I love my Joplin. Very nice bit of kit. I'm a bit concerned about the reliability, due to these postings, so i've zip tied my old Spec Enduro 04 rear mudguard to the bottom portion of the seatpost to keep the mud off it. Works so far.

I have noticed that there is a cm of sideways play in it already. I've only ridden it 4 times around Pitch and Holmbury. There is also quite a lot of play vertically, but you only notice this when lifting the bike by it's saddle.

I must admit it doesn't sound like a very "finished" product, but it must be good to ride with otherwise the you guys would have ditched them already.

Where I ride I would like to adjust my saddle height constantly, at the present I ride with it about 3cm too low to pedal properly, which is often 3cm too high for dh and tech stuff...

yep  riding with it is a joy   otherwise i would have ditched it. Hopefully my concerns are misplaced and it's designed like that. For trips away from decent bike shops i think i may keep a spare "stiff post" (ooohh er )  iin the van.

weve got a year old Mavick (Joipin predecessor) with lever action rather than remote.  The lever got bent but has been straightened again.  Comes with the standard side to side play!  anyone want to make an offer?
