Did you think the present Supreme DH Team (the green one) was as sexy and as expensive as it could get? Think again.

Introducing the limited edition, unbelievably well spec'd but frighteningly expensive, Supreme DH WC.

Spec'd the same as Gee's WC winning bike, with a custom colour scheme including of course the world cup strips, this really is about as good as it gets.

Spec is unconfirmed as yet but expect Chris King, Fox, Saint, DT Swiss, Sunline, basically as close to the actual bike as possible.

How much? Well, being that the "standard" Team version was £5k, and this one has an even better spec, and is even more limited, expect to pay more. How much more? Dunno, but don't expect a huge amount of change from £6k.

Order now for March delivery from your local Commie dealer if you really really want one.

I wouldn't be so sure on over priced.

Rockshox up 30%, most Avid and SRAM products too. Fox up 15%, and from what I hear most bike brands will be going up 10-20% in march, so that £6k don't seem that high anymore.

You gotta remember sterling has lost 30% of it's value on the money markets recently, so EVERYTHING in the uk is due some hefty price rises soon.

Stunning bike. Interesting about the price hikes - worth knowing, thanks Steve.

Looks absolutely stunning! Bit of a shame the 40s look standard... I heard the Atherton replica would get the new ones with the nitride (i think...) coating on the stantions...

£6k though... makes the Trek Session88 at £3500 an absolute steal imo... spend £500 replacing bar/stem/seat/wheels and its not far off spec wise. Granted the Commy has the bling rear shock... but then thats £2000's difference...

Still want one tho!!!

Big problem with the Lapierre is if you're over 6foot tall... they're tiny bikes.

I've promised myself either a new DH bike or a TVR Chimaera for doing the marathon in April... the Commencal is still a forerunner... its just a big wedge of cash...

Lol, a TVR? Nice, but I hope you like fixing them?

I would love this Atherton Ltd Etd, it's freaking sweet  Grin That bike would cost as much as my car cost! And you don't get air-con or even 4 wheels with the bike... I'd still swap though  Tongue

Surely the biggest problem with having that bike is that unless you are riding at near world champ speeds you are going to look like a prize bell end on it.
