....and have loved every unbobby minute of it since!!!!
You know, that's a damn good username for this forum - UnBobby - wish I'd thought of it

Ah, so this is where all the comments came from.
Maybe not all of them - I'm only aware of two that came from here.
My intention certainly wasn't to personally offend anyone
I don't think we're all offended - we just have more experience with the bike and a different opinion of it.
if I'm looking to shell out that kind of money on a bike, I'm going to test it first and if that's the impression it gives me, it's pretty unlikely the Meta is the bike for me.
Perhaps you had a duff shock, or it was set up for someone lighter - who knows. There's a difference though, between testing one for yourself and testing intending to publish a review. If you're trying to publish an objective review then you need to set the bike up first, so it performs as intended.
You're right about first impressions, they really count and maybe the Meta isn't for you. There are countless full suss trail bikes out there at the moment and somewhere there's one that will feel right to you. The Blur LT from the sound of it - also a fantastic bike

- a touch more expensive than the Meta though.
Your review was quite readable - keep up the writing, just set the bikes up first.
