 Grin

Fitted the 12mm Maxle to my Meta 5 friday and had Merlin swap the axle over for me.  Went llandegla on sat and the bike was nice..!

Big thanks to Steveb for the kit and Merlin for the last minute hub conversion.  I could of swapped the axle myself but didn't really want to use a socket to refit the bearings.

Nice..!

Is it noticeably better at the front? I've got Float RLCs on my Meta 5 and I sometime wonder if they could be a bit stiffer.......but then there's the cost....

This conversion was on the rear, the 12mm one that Steveb sells.

I already have a 20mm Maxle on the front as I have the Pikes.

I would say things are alot stiffer..!

When do you notice it?
Bought the conversion kit from Steve meself seeing as they were thin on the ground but haven't fitted it yet (need new rear hub).
Just curious

To me things just seem tight and a bit more connected, if you know what I mean..?

Reminds me of how the BMX rode..?

I know what I mean anyway..!
