Remy ABSALON is at it again!

After having won the Euduro Series at the end of August, our Superteam COMMENCAL rider has just taken the European Marathon Downhill Championship for the 3rd time. Franck PAROLIN, the previous title holder, came second, followed by Guillaume BRAUX.

Rémy stamped his authority at the last round, held at Pinilla, Spain, reminding us of his performance at the VALLNORD race. This site is just around the corner from us, and is the site of a World Cup round (Cross-country, 4X, Downhill) in 2008!

Still holding on to the handlebars of his META 666, Rémy told us “I’m really happy with this win, and for the title. Great win, great race, perfect bike! Everything went well!”

For his next rendezvous, Rémy is going to the Roc d’Azur with Marine (his girlfriend) and both are going to do the race on a tandem. Pretty brave! If you’re in the area, shout out your support to them as they ride thought the Esterel Mountains.

He will then be present at our booth for an autograph session Saturday at 4pm. He will be accompanied by none other the Cédric (GRACIA), its going to be fun! Get yourselves over for what looks like to be a great weekend!

The COMMENCAL staff will be present at the Roc d’Azur (Var) from the 12th to the15th of October.
