Fork update! I finally bit the bullet and ordered a new spring for the Lyriks as they just seemed too soft even though the RS manual said it is right for me ( I am at the top end of the weight for the standard ones though  )
The new firm spring has transformed my already superb forks, I haven't bottomed them out for a week now!

If anyone wants a coil spring for their air Lyriks then PM me, I will do a good deal on it, they are a complete spring assembly and so should fit in your left leg without too much grief! only thing that you would be missing is the u-turn knob for height adjustment.

If I blow the damper again I am stripping it myself as I know exactly which o-ring needs replacing :-)

Finally my XT bottom bracket has died, it has had 2 years of abuse, not bad really in fact thats the longest I have had a BB last for! whilst replacing bits I have managed to find time to fit my xmas pressys  (X9 rear mech and XT front mech) I ordered a Hope ceramic BB, PG980 cassette,pc991 chain and am trying a shorter stem (Thomson) that my mate has lent me. Lets see how long the new BB lasts for!
