Yesterday, myself, Vanman from on here and some mates headed accross to Dumfriesshire for a day at Kirroughtree.   The place is amazing, more "natural" in feeling than other 7Stanes, feels like it's been there for ever instead of recently plonked down - genius on the part of the trail designers and builders I'd say.    The full black and red loop is hard work though, and you know you've been on a ride by the end of it.

If you've not been - get your trip organised soon!

Kirroughtree is indeed good.

We normally do it and stay in Newton Stewart overnight (chinese is brilliant according to the mates, but I hate spicy food, so their mixed grill isn't bad), and ride dalbeattie, mabie or drumlanrig on the way home, provided it involves breakfast at the old school cafe on the way to dumfries  Grin
