Why is freecaster so shit!!! every time that they have something on it is either not working or it is either that slow that you cant properly watch it!!! and these people want to have the rights to all the uci dh cups and bmx next year!!!!! of coarse there is no where that you can e mail in on their site to complain so i am starting a post here!!!!!

who else is fed up with cap coverage!!!!!?

I don't have any problems watching it. Sometimes it freezes but I just rewind it slightly.

I've never watched it, but it's free right? I suspect there is your problem.

never had a problem wi it meself, pause it & leave it a minute or two let it fully download before watchin it.

i havent watched anything live on it,but i cant say ive had any probs with it at all. things can only get better,and seeeing as its free then u cant complain too much

ive never had a problem with the live footage or other recordings since i got a new computer and faster internet connection, perhaps its the computer rather than the actual website?

Find freecaster coverage dreadful,  the picture keeps freezing for a few seconds every few seconds and the commentary is way out of sync with the pictures by about 5 mins.  We usually get the picture of one rider's downhill run with the commentary of another riders.  It has nothing to do with our pcs as they are v. powerful ones for the business, but we do live in the country and are in the amber zone for bt internet coverage so I think it may be in part due to that plus maybe some freecaster technical issues.

...for a reminder just check out any footage on youtube.....now that is bad quality and frustrating!

It isn't the best and it can be furstrating when you are watching a live feed.

But it is FREE

i myself havent had any probs with the commentary being out of sync and i live in a zone that can only get 1.5meg of connection speed(claimed 8meg but actual is 1.5) and my comp is a 3year old £600 dell paptop,so nothing fancy going on there,i just let it load up abit b4 watching!
But robs commentary more than makes up for anything,that guy is a legend,makes me laugh something stupid!

Ok some Uci coverage was (crapy ) freezing live picture etc. i was angry too sometimes , but its free like Tim says and you can watch a lot of quality vids on site.Maybe they nead more tech.time for fixing live coverage i dont now but better something like nothing.About Robs comments no comment

I think they are doing a great job for live streaming , I some times get pauses but do remeber it's LIVE! so they have thier work cut out , and also it's in a fairly high format for live streaming too , more then some pre-recorded websites . all in all i think its great

Used to the days of no coverage at all, apart from pictures and a write up in mtb mags.

exactl ant before this the only WC footage i had seen was on DVD's , watching it live is so more exciting
