Anyone here planning on going along to spectate or has entered to race even?

http://nps4x.com/joomla/content/view/55/2/

Planning on heading up and having a gander, last years event in Edinburgh looked like a good laugh - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=EBnZEKW8OtQ although no Gee A to defend his title this year (bigger fish to fry - Red Bull Rampage, whats that about then Huh? I mean who would choose that over bunnyhopping some steps at the English Seaside Huh?!?)

A mate at work was looking at it on t'nterweb one day and I joked that he should enter. Given I egged him on so much I feel quite obliged to go and support him now but not looking forward to spending next Saturday evening in the waiting room of Scarborough Infirmary (he rides a Norco not a Commie)!!

he might end up doing better than you orginally think, the standard of riders at last years event wasnt upto much,i was watching and was kicking myself for the whole event for not entering,i reckon i would have had a good chance of taking the crown in the hardtail catagory (this was when i had my 24seven deviant).

I live in Bridgnorth where they ran the first urban downhill race and that was the thing that really first got me interested in mountain biking, twas amazing seeing the athertons ride (even if it was on giant) in real life, its so hard 2 appreciate the skill involved when u only see it on a screen

I'm entered, although the weather forecast is absolutely manky for Sat so not too enthusiastic at the mo, but at least it won't be muddy, just wet.
