That is disgusting! Best case senario is a puncture, worst case doesn't bear thinking about. What I don't undertand i that this doesn't just impact bikers. Walkers, horse riders, dog walkers could all come a croper on this.

Worst thing I've had to deal with are people putting logs across bridle paths (okay for horses but too high for bikers). Why be so spieful, at the end of the day we are all enjoying the countryside, getting fitter, less of a drain on the health services and greener to the environment.

We have some problems in our local trails but we just get logs across the track! Horses cause more damage than a mountain bike!

Yip same problem here. Just went up the back of my house the other day where there is a wee trail through some woods. Every 20 yards or so a log had been placed over the trail. No idea whether it was kids, horse owners or my favourite suspect dogs walkers. Took me ages to move them all so I could batter back down the trail.

Its clearly OK to leave your dogs shite in a public area, but not for a bike to go through a trail in a wood. Should all dog owners be shot? A poll perhaps.

a few years back at the forest of dean my mate Po was leading us down the hill when all of a sudden he was 'clothes lined' off his bike , from where i was i couldnt see what done it , once i got to Po i realised there was some HEAVEY fishing wire acorss the track at neck hieght... luckily it snapped across the jaw piece of his helmet but still left marks on the corners of his mouth before snapping ..these people are psychos that do these things I just hope they have some sort of acident them selfs ( not to bad obviously)
