I'm just finishing off puuting the new 2008 Commencal full susspension range into Real Cycles website (doing the hardtails later in the week) and even though i've already seen and ridden the new Combi S, I'm still amazed at how good a bike it is.



Gone is the old old frame and in comes last years Meta4 frame, which alone cost £850 last year. Add in decent brakes, half decent forks, not bad wheels and decent enough finishing kit and you've got a fantastic entry level full susser, for only £999!!!

Even with hte mew Metas, and the furious and the new Meta666, I reckon this little baby is gonna be next years biggest seller by a mile.

I saw the article on that and was, frankly, knocked out. I've a mate whos's thiking of a cheaper full-sus and that would be right up his street.

Are the frames available separately??

i totally agree.  this looks amazing for the money.  where i work i always sold the fsr xc or the trance 3 but when this comes in i will give it a right good seing to, just to make sure i can sell it over the other two i mentioned.  if it rides even 10% as good as the meta 5.5.3 at 1299. then it will be an easy sell. congrads to commencal for pushing the boat out this year.

edinburgh bikes at the aberdeen branch. there are now three of us on commencal bikes. not bad when two years ago it was awash we specialized.
why you ask, are you looking to branch out to scotland and you are looking for someone to run the shop. lol
