In typical British fashion, after our very wet 'summer' we hit autumn and are rewarded with sun and dry trails!

I've spent the summer hub deep in gook so 2 weeks ago I put a mud spiker on. Just got back in from lovely, dry dusty trails! And nope,I hadn't removed the tyre Embarrassed  Rear was all over the place but good fun (shame about the sheep cack, nettles, and 12 hour night shift last night and tonight but who cares Grin ).

The best part? Dry all week and I get every Monday to Friday off work Grin Grin
Tempted to change the tyre but pretty sure that as soon as I do the rain'll come back and turn the trails to peanut butter again.. Make the most of the dryness people, I'm changing that tyre very soon Wink

Get that tyre changed!

Depends a bit on where you are but forecast dry all week for most of the UK.
Unless you're Yorkshire coastal perhaps.

Lakes, Wales, Dumfries all looking good...

yeah Cunning-stunt must have changed those tyres late on last night, cos it started to rain at around 12am,but never mind cos the relentless sunshine all day today (monday) dried it all up and some sweet riding to PURE blue skies was to be had in the eve after i got away from work(almost never even made it out at all,cos the van i was planning on taking down to glentress broke down on me during the afternoon,so had to cancel some of the plans(sorry vodkarob dude) but my mate came to the rescue in his nice neat (NOT!!! car,so we bundled the bikes in the back of that!

I had a right good blast round the local woods. Got covered in mud, and it was good.

aww mate, honestly you really dont realise how much u missed out(although i do enjoy a trip to ikea, those meatballs are ace too, lol) i can honestly say that it was the most stunning evenings i have had for biking this year, there actually wasnt a single cloud in the sky,the temp was a nice cool 15deg C and a very slight breeze delt with the threat of a soaked brow!

I defiantly can't complain picked up my new Meta on Friday had glorious weekends riding. Now I'm in my office having ridden in through the thick fog thinking the forest is just two miles down the road and the suns out. Roll on 5pm that's 1 hours trails. 40minute ride home and clean the bike in the dark.

And a Sunny weekend.

Perfect.
