The top team over at Bikeactive.com are holding a demo day at the Chicksands Bike Park open day on Sunday the 21st September.

This is a great chance to test ride a selection of bikes from the awesome 2009 Commencal range. That's right, no 'looky looky no touchy' we are talking getting your butt in the saddle and checking the sag!

2009 Bikes available are:  Meta 6.2, Meta 5.5.3, Supreme 1, Absolut 2 and a Furious CG. Bikeactive are really behind this super strong lineup, so get on over to Chicksands and see if you agree!

Test rides must be booked before hand.

Contact the shop for details on 01920 87 22 22 or email: team@bikeactive.com.

If you haven't already put your name down but you want to come along, feel free. Make the most of a sunny weekend and try a 2009 Commencal for size! Chicksands is a great venue for bike testing with plenty of trails, jumps and drops to try.

That was like riding single track but in a van, going backwards! If you want a test ride pop down the shop. We've got a good range of 2009 demo bikes in. All the frames have turned up too.

Yeah got onto the fire road and then out the gate. Every frame is in apart from the Supreme DH and Meta 4X, they'll hopefully be here Friday.

Hi Tim

I've built it up from bits I had lying around in the shop. I've gone for a Gamut chain device, Truvativ cranks, Rockshox Tora air (for the time being), WTB rims, Juicy 7 brakes, Sunline V1 saddle. It looks amazing! Heres a pic.

Rob,Rob,Rob....what is going on with fitting Toras on that beauty?Huh??

Was there really nothing else lying around???

It's like looking at a Claudia Schiffer and then realising she has no teeth! ( though I am sure some would say that has it's positives! )

Haha! Alright alright!  Smiley I will be getting some Fox F120's or some Reba's. I took the Tora's off an entry level Orange ST4. They feel suprisingly good!
