Just about to set off for Stainburn. Never been before but heard it's pretty hard both up and down.

I'm riding my local trail today (only 10 miles from my house ) and tomorrow riding in the forest of dean/monmouth area at a place that has to remain unnamed due to  being on private land ( just round the corner from Dirt 1:04 track)

Cannock.
Maybe not as exciting as the Stanes but a good (if muddy) time was had by all.
Got to make up for it now with my list of "tasks".  Sad

So I didn't crash, but my sodding cassette lockring came loose and cut the ride short Angry
Couldn't figure out why my indexing suddenly went weird and upon closer inspection the sprockets were all over the place.Had to spin home on the 4th biggest and that was touch and go.
Oh well, will try again on Tuesday..

Got back in one piece. That was one of the best rides I have ever done. Short, sweet, technical, fast uphill, downhill, dropoff's, pop off's, brilliant. Credit to the volunteers who built it. Can't remember laughing soo much on my bike whilst trying to concentrate on where I'm going.

Class Cheesy
