Hi there,
Ive recieved my first mountain bike a commencal combi deluxe, just been out on the road with it and all feels well Smiley
Going over cannock chase tomorrow but was going to look at getting some diferent tyres for the wet muddy weather to replace my kenda small block 8s.
What would you recomend?

kenda nevegals - stickE on the front and normal 60a on the back. WTB Timberwolfs have been good too. boys in my club swear by Maxxis High Rollers but i dont rate them as a wet tyre.

A very good mud/winter set up is a Bontrager Mud X on the front and a Panaracer Trailraker on the rear. I used this set up last year. I then changed to High Rollers which I love as a fit and forget tyre. I have now just put on a High Roller LUST on the front and an Ardent on the rear which I will be testing out tomorrow.

I have run my standard tubes which were 1.9 to 2.2 in my high rollers as a temporary measure but I had to have bigger pressures in them than I would normally and that made it a bit skittish when lineing up for a jump etc. The handling was so much better with the correct tubes in at a lower pressure.

BTW the Bontrager and Panaracer were 2.1's any way.
