New (October) edition of MBR, (in shops around 11 Sept) -

Meta 55XT - 2 page (well one nd a glossy pic!) long term test review - 9/10
"show me some bench cut man-made singletrack and there are few bikes I'd rather be aboard" (p26)

Meta 4x Frame - 1 page review - 10/10
"brings out the big kid in you, no bike can put a smile on our face like the 4x" (p53)

Looks like after measuring and hammering them earlier in the year the mags are now actually riding them and agreeing with what we have all known for ages, that they are bloody good and fun bikes to ride!!

Not had a chance to read the reviews in full yet but sure someone can scan and post them on here soon enough (VicTim?), if not sure you can all loiter in WH Smiths for 10 minutes Wink

Is the "show me some man made bench cut....." comment not one of the most damning things you could say about a bike?

i thought that comment was wierd too - why would you need a 5.5" dually for man made bench cut?? I mean the meta is certainly stull fun on it but so is almost any bike. I'd say the meta5's strength is its all round ability, compliant ride, good angles and above average DH ability (in the 5" allmountain market).

That would mean I would have to actually buy MBR!  Grin

Seriously, I did consider at one point scanning in every good review of the Commie range both online and in print, but look at how it has sky rocketed this year! Pretty much every month there is a magazine ( and not just in the UK ) which has reviewed one of the models and given it a crazy high score. I'm sure I would fall foul of copyright laws with all the reproduction  Cheesy

And the mags haven't got there hands on a Super4 yet......

I wondered about that.
Out of interest then, how does this site get away with posting reviews in the downloads section?
