I haven't tested it but I believe on a MAC it is  hold down Opt while typing the letter c for ç or Opt plus Shift plus C for the Ç to create cedilla accent marks?

Don't make it easy those MAC designers do they?

I feel really embarrassed asking this question, but what’s the correct pronunciation of Commençal?
Is it:
Commen  -  sal  (as in the start of Sally)?
Commen  -  cial?
Commen – shall?
Or something else?

I'd go for Commen-sal.

ç represents a soft pronounced c in french.

I've always called it Commonsal, or Comical when talking to the warranty dept.
