I had the same problem with my meta last year.
I sent pictures of it to the Norwegian importer, they talked to commencal and I ended up with a new rear frame.
It took a while but it was worth it.

Øyvind

Thanks for the reply Øyvind. Think I'm going to take a call to them tomorrow then, but did you buy the frame in Norway?

My brain is replaced with snot these days, I bought it in Norway.. What I meant to say with the post was that you should talk to Merlin, send them the same pictures that you posted and wait for them to sort it. It's not the first time this happens so it should be a quick one.

I know it is a bit more complicated from Norway, but it is always worth giving people a call to talk through the issue. Emails ( especially to a very web based company like Merlin ) can disappear a bit in the inbox.

Just my view though

Anyone who have thoughts about bending back the rear end of the frame to make room for the dropout?, its just about 2mm, or will this weakend the frame? Huh?

Maybe it's enough to scratch the color off.

Btw. my frame from Merlin arrived today and have also a bendet mech hanger. The dropouts seems to be ok and the 12mm hanger fits, but a little bit tight.

Hi,

So if you don't get an answer maybe its the best to call them.
