Just had them on the scales.

08 is at least quarter of a pound lighter :-)

Best of all, the new 08 frames come with some rear mech outer already installed (no fishing around trying to install it in the new swingarm).

Well if your talking pounds over weight. 

I just saved myself £449 pounds on a Meta 5.5.2 07 over an 08. 

 Hee heeee how phooking chuffed am I!  Grin

Seriously first post, great site, helped me make the decision, ditch the Marin Alpine Trail for a French Bugger!
