Hi all,

Raced the Kona Mash Up on Saturday. It is the same format (kinda) as the Multi-staged race for the Avalanche Trophy in Kielder.

Just thought I'd post my result up from the Afan Kona Mash Up, 16th Overall. There was some technical issues with the timing on section 2 (whatever the name was?) so everyones times in section 2 was just taken out of the combined results. Shame really as I pedaled my arse off on this bit as I was still feeling fit..

Was a good day, no rain!! a reported 350 people turned up to race, I love when an event goes well, and loads of people make the effort, its just COOL!

Freebies were given out (water bottle and Kona Socks), and plenty of food at the main pit stop.

Apparently there will be more events like this to come, so I recommend getting involved!
