what a trip! Smiley

the alps is an amazing place to ride!

i got back last saturday and i've just uploaded my pics and thought i'd share

i stayed with friends at there chalet in sainte foy, they moved out there last year to run a skiing/snowboard and mtbing company, and from what i've seen they're pretty good at it, well i would say that wouldn't i. the chalet was great, food was top notch, the trails and riding were all awesome

you can find more piccies here... http://flickr.com/photos/82205667@N00/sets/72157606932312255/

i dont know about jumpy, but out there i was trying and riding stuff i guess i normally avoid back home. a bigger bike, like the 666 or mini dh would have been a nice confidence boost. also the riding i was doing there was primarily heading down, so a bike that climbs well wasnt an advantage. the meta was good, and fun, but a mini dh might have been better... maybe :-)
