Hi

I'm not a commencal owner yet but i hope to be very soon....

I am thinking of buying a commencal combi disc whilst i save up for a meta and just wondered what you thought of them? Are they good value for money - i have seen an 08 model for less than £400 new.

Many Thanks

My gf's brother bought one last week from Merlin Cycles in Leyland for £375.

Not bad a bad bike to be honest, excellent for the money.

Recommended (not a Commencal owner yet....currently a SC VP-Free owner!)

yeah had mine since last november, n i love it, havent really had many problems with it, the fork was alrite,bt nothing special, the oil in it got very stiff when riding in minus temperatures which scared me n made me think id broken it bt once it was warmed up it was fine, ive upgraded it now and if u have the oppurtunity, i would definately do the same, its handled everything ive thrown at it from jumps and few flat drops and still being comfortable to ride on long rides

hi there,

our lass has the combi dlx 08 - its a wicked little bike - ideal for entry level - on the grounds of cost but i reckon its a good enough bike to keep hardcore riders happy - so go for it.

cheers
