So my question is: How are your cables running there. maybe I've to change the way the cables are running??? Could you show me pictures of yours!?! Thanks a lot!

i've a meta and got cable rub like yours, i don't think there's much you can do other than stick a few protective patches on the frame in all the worst rubbed places.

some people have taken to helicopter taping there whole frames, but it's a mtb and it's going to get scratched and rubbed if you're using it.

if you don't know what helicopter tape is look here.
it looks expensive (and i'm sure you can probably find it cheaper elsewhere) but you could cut hundreds of protective patches out of even the smallest roll.

Try these. I had these on my old Decathlon and they work a treat.

I got some 'fuel tank protective tape' from a motorcycle shop.  It was about £8 for an A4 sheet, which will obviously do loads of patches.  Helicopter tape is a lot thicker (It can be ~2mm thick!) but possibly overkill for this sort of thing?

3M makes a terrific protective tape. A roll will last you for years. I use it on my Meta.
Propper helicopter tape is extremely expensive, Tomm, and completely overkill for cable rubbing protection.

I find with bits of stickers that a soon as they get muddied up and washed they start to either peel off or move, especially on awkward shaped pieces of frame. I Think the cable sleeves are great for avoiding this.

like Tron (cool movie) says use the 3M stuff its far far superiour so anything else. With a hair dryer and some patients you can get it to mould/form over any shape or formation , i managed to get mine to stick right between the creases in weld areas too!!!, top stuff

that copter tape by 3M aint too expensive on that link provided above,£7.50 for 50cm is pretty good, cos like mentioned it will provide endless patches. but failing that i use the lizzard skins clear patches and they are awesome!!

I got my supreme taped on the most critical areas, including the 888, with the heli tape by 3m.
Check it out: http://www.biketape.co.uk/Welcome.html
Like bong says, it isn't too expensive if you consider the benefits. It prevents from small and medium scratches from cables and transports, but don't expect it to last too long if you're keen on cleaning the trails with your chin, if u know what i mean

Note that "helicopter tape" and helicopter tape is not the same thing.
As far as I know, only one product from 3M is a propper helicopter tape with an official part number from Bell (the helicopters, not the helmets).
For frame protection "helicopter tape" is sufficient. Look for tape intended for protecting the door area on cars or for protecting car paint from rocks thrown up by the wheels.
