Dan had a difficult time on Saturday.
He fell twice in the DH and withdrew himself and had a good "sit down" in the 4X after making an unbelievable move to get himself into second place in his heat. Unfortunately, he was unable to qualify.
Spoke with him briefly after and he said he wanted somewhere quiet to slit his throat. I am thinking he was a little disappointed!
The clan is off to Whistler for the week, so those out there should see most of the pro riders ripping up the trails.

Dan doesn't look as confident as he was in the first couple of rounds of the WC.
We must not forget the awfull crash an subsequent cervical injury on Italy.

Let us hope he recovers his confidence and full shape for the last 2 rouds and make it a clean sweep.

These are the official results which I copyed from the UCI website. Also watched the event live on frecaster.tv and peaty ended up doing 3rd and gee 4th.

Steve Peat was definitely third as he got to pop the champagne and spray himself directly in the face. It was quite amusing. After the 4X, he lead his Syndicate teammates and a few fans with a sprint down the last section of the 4X track with beers in hand.
He did the old men proud.
