hi, greetings from asia my friends Smiley,
i have been looking around for an AM bike, and have currently boiled it down to commencal's bike due to its famous linkage.
however , what puzzles me is that which bike should i get ? the meta 5.1-5.3 ? meta 6 is out of the question ( too expensive, based on looking at the specs). so which bike should i get ? by the way, i'm a heavy rider, around 230 pounds or 105 kg. correct me if i'm wrong, commencal's frame doesnt allow the use of coil shocks right, but say can it support a fox dhx 5.0 air shock ? or must i use the shock that came with the frame ( in this case, the rp2).
hope to hear from u guys Smiley

Go for a Meta 5.2, cracking bike and I think the spec is just nice on it - good enough that you wont want to change anything whilst keep price down a bit over the 5.1.  The 5.2 XT looks immense.  Im a fairly heavy rider myself, and I think there a few on here riding Meta's that might even be heavier than me  Wink  Not sure about the shock situation, but the Float should be grand anyway?  If you are looking something a bit more heavy duty then you could always go for a Supreme and I think the '08 ones will all be coils.  I suppose it depends on your definition of AM Smiley
