all the bull shit about how hard it is to fit an E13 LG1 to the 08 supreme can now be forgotten about, just fitted mine and all it took was to flip the iscg mount use 2 spacers an shave a little off the top guide, heaps of clearance an a  not to bad chain guide as you dont use the first 4 gears anyhow (unless you a cat).

cranks were stock truvativ .

So, what your saying is, LG's are easy to fit, providing you only want to use half your gears? Hmmm.

I'll stick to our method: A total pain in the arse to do right, but doable and you get to use all gears in total harmony.

Anyway, what were you saying again?

How to win friends and influence people on forums!  Ask them for advice - then call them out for offering up bullshit.  Nice one....   Wink

The 'stock truvativ' cranks you refer to - are they on a 57.5mm chainline?  If so, you are right, it ought to be simple.

If they are 50mm cranks (to suit the BB shell), it remains a right faff (as I've explained), but it's do-able and gives perfect chainline and all gears are usable.

Fact remains that with a 68mm shell and 150mm back end you are seriously limited on what cranks you can use.

ye it's quite common on a lot of frame/crank/guide combos tohave slight chain rub. This setup I got right now was probly one the easyer setups I have encountered , blind luck really.
